My journey into filmmaking has been a unique one. It started a few years ago, when the owner of a hotel group saw my amateur videos and asked me to film a documentary in Namibia. My job was to film the local mineral miners at his farm, which was also known as the “small miner”. With little know-how, I accepted the job, knewing to do my best. Full of energy and motivation, I single-handedly produced a 30 minute documentary, which won first place in an international film competition. This laid the foundation for my future and further ignited my passion for filmmaking. I started studying digital media production at the Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences. During my studies, I founded my first film agency in 2014 and started working as a freelance filmmaker for several different companies. With time my projects grew and I started to film for international clients and focused on image films, social media content creation and high quality commercials until today. Still with full heart. Giving my best.
However, I never lost my passion for documentaries. With two friends, I started Project:Antarctica, a travel documentary about achieving your goals and crossing boundaries at a young age. We wanted to motivate people to go their own way and believe in their passion. So, we showed our film in over 140 cinemas in Germany and Austria and visited over 80 cities in two months to tell our story.
